Dr. Shahid Raza is the Director of Security Lab at RISE SICS Stockholm where he has been working since 2008. Shahid is also the head of the RISE Cybersecurity Centre. Shahid’s research interests include but are not limited to Blockchain, security and privacy in IPv6-connected IoT, interconnection of computing clouds and IoT, smart grid, and storage security in constrained environments. In addition to participating in different EU projects, Shahid has the management experience from EU and Swedish projects. Shahid is the coordinator of multiple IoT security projects: EU Eurostars project SecureIoT [2016-2019], and the Swedish Strategic Innovation Pro-gram on IoT (SIP-IoT) project SecureCare (2018-2021). Shahid is also a PI of the EU ECSEL project SECREDAS (2018-2021) and two strategic Swedish cybersecurity research projects: VR's HackingThings: Human Centred Internet of Things Security (2018-2021) and SSF's aSSIsT: Secure Software for the Internet of Things. In addition to the vast management experience, Shahid’s IoT security research profile is among the strongest in Europe.
